Greetings!

Wow, I believe this is the first at-home weekend I've had since moving to CT. It feels good to be able to just relax, lounge around and call all of my out of state friends. They all appreciate my efforts to keep in touch.
Okay, so officially it's been three weeks since I moved up here and I'm not homesick--not one bit. Now that is great! I really love being up here on my own. Unfortunately, that is something my parents will never really comprehend since my older sister, who has always lived near my parents, has never gone a day without at least phoning them. Oh well, we can't all be the "perfect" child!

On a separate note...Boy, we've been having great weather lately. Isn't it beautiful?

Right now, as I sit on my portable file cabinet and write this blog, I'm enjoying some instrumental music, by candlelight, and burning some incense. Zen!
It would be blissful to receive a full body oil massage upon completion of my blog, but hey, sometimes we just can't have it all!

Hi everyone!

Late night here, again. Slow connection, as always. Miracle I even made it back online tonight. Devil incarnate a.k.a. Sprint PCS, disconnected me for a second time in the last 72 hours! Bastards!!!!!

On another note, I just got done killing more insects in my room. Yes, call me Pestminator!
I detest doing this.

I haven't had last night's dinner yet. I might go upstairs and cook something.

Another weekend rolls around. This is my third week here in CT. Wow, how time flies. Anyhow, I am having a great relaxing time. No worries at all.

Saludos para todos mis fieles lectores!
Last night, I went grocery shopping at 11p.m. and didn't get to the cash register until 12:02 a.m. My cart was packed. I purchased enough food to last me at least a little over a month. Now that's what I call shopping!
I bought insecticide! I skipped over the boric acid though. I think I'll buy that when I visit Walmart.
Now, I'm worrying about moths. Yeap, this place has moths. I told my landlord to buy cedar balls, something I will definitely be purchasing from Walmart.
Those insects are quick and when you swat them, they pretend they are dead by remaining immobile, but in 3 minutes or less they're up flying around again. One came into my room last night and annoyed the heck out of me, especially when ALL I could think of was that it will lay eggs and eat my clothes! Damn, I though I'd killed it until it pulled one of those "play dead" acts on me!
Now, I don't know where it is. I hate not knowing!!

Smile! If you can breathe on your own, eat on your own, walk by yourself, see for yourself, and hear clearly, you are blessed!

Greetings from CT!
Currently I'm on a 14.4 kbps wireless connection via Sprint PCS. It is utterly frustrating.

On another frustrating note: where are the older men in CT hiding? So far and with the exception of The Fish Who..., I've only met babies and toddlers. What's up with that? What ever happened to the 30+ year-old men? If I don't soon get over my "robbing the cradle complex" I will never be able to date here.

By the way, does Luna Pizza sell pizza by the slice?

Today was a nice sunny day. I haven't stepped outside yet, but then again it's already night time.

Life is grand! So far, I am enjoying my time here in CT. Does anyone know any good parties coming soon to Hartford and surrounding areas?

Damn, I'm so close, but have not yet ventured out to the West Farms Mall. I suck!

Quick hello to everyone.
Okay, so now I'm in CT. The weather has been swell!
Currently, I'm unpacking. YUK!!!
I continue to kill spiders and some Daddy Long Legs. Ugh!
I cleaned the room to the best of my abilities, so what am I to do about these insects.
I cannot take the chance to get biten by one of them and then have an allergic reaction, as I so often do from mosquito bites.

Thank God I found a place and so far my roommates and landlord are nice people.
Haleluya!!!

Is this a nightmare or what!!!!!!!!!!!
All of a sudden, I no longer have a roommate!
Is this supposed to be a test of strength??? Yes, some BAD joke on how much I could withstand without FREAKING-OUT!

Now, I'm back to the drawing board, or in better terms, roommates board. I NEED to stay somewhere, GEEZ at least until I quickly find a fixed roommate situation. Holy Cow!!!

The day is almost here!
I'm being bombarded by my mother's emotional rantings. If I could, I'd leave today!!! I can't take anymore of this : (

On another note, Totally Hits 2002 is available in stores as of today. I think it's pretty good, at least 1/2 of it.

God Bless

Okay, now there's a couple of days left 'til my departure : ))

Packing isn't fun, at least when you're driving your loaded car to your destination. I hope everything fits! I might do a trial loading of the car tonight.

I've been so busy! Things just continue to pop into my head. By the way, did I mention today is my birthday?

I can't believe that a week from today I will be waking up somewhere in the New England area. Holy Cow! I guess I'll know exactly how I'll feel next Monday. Geez, I'm now making myself nervous.
I wonder if I will get homesick?
Nah! Fat chance!!

I guess that as long as I remain occupied/distracted, then my adjustment period shouldn't be too bad.

Okay, now back to my tedious prep work.
