Greetings! Yes, I am back.
My mini vacation of southern Florida was a drive-by tour. Yes, I spent more time inside a vehicle than at each destination. Nope, my bum did not appreciate it. Thongs were not a wise choice for this weekend, but I guess I didn't give it much thought when packing--after all, bad habits are hard to break : (
I must go back to spend an entire weekend in so. Miami Beach, and later an entire weekend at Key West. *I will give you the full story on my drive-by tour at a later date. Right now I want to go to bed, but I must start packing and prepping for my trip Thursday night.
Today's Quote:
To hell with everyone. Do what you will!
Thursday, April 25, 2002 :::
I hope you all have a great weekend! I sure will try to have one just like it or better :-)
Be good, be safe and most of all be happy. I will share all of my adventures in So. FL on Monday night's post.
Now let the margarita's roll!
Tuesday, April 23, 2002 :::
Hello Everyone!
This week will be a bit hectic for me, as well as the following two after it. So, I wish to apologize ahead of time for missing days from posting.
By the way, for those of you not familiar with the Showtime series Queer As Folk, it is available by seasons at Blockbuster Video.---Warning: not for the faint at heart ;-)
This week marks the beginning of the next three weeks of whirlwind mini vacations. Wow! Yesterday, I picked up the cruise tickets :-))
For those lonely hearts out there, try E-love Television.com. It is a program that comes on The Oxygen Channel :-) By visiting the site, you can scope the small intros and photos of many individuals out in the world seeking to find that TRUE soulmate to compliment their life in a healthy, equally satisfying manner. You know, that person that makes you glow and be the best person that you can possibly be, all for the sake of love. Tid bit: The latter sentence must be displayed by both parties in a relationship---IT CANNOT EVER SURVIVE BEING ONE-SIDED!!!! NEVER!!! I cannot stress this enough!! Unfortunately, I've been there and done that. I once was blinded to the reality that my partner did not share the glow or anything else as I did. Yes, love can be cruelly blinding :-( But I think now I know better or at least know what signs to look for when determining if you're in the same page with a partner or not. But then again, I think it is always easier for women to determine these things and more just because of our 6th sense. Nonetheless, it was the most heartbreaking experience I'd ever encountered in my life : {
Okay, so pizza for me tonight, and a growing perturbing desire to move to the northeast coast. Yeah, perturbing in a way of an itch that one cannot reach to scratch. I am perturbed in the way of recognizing how little I've done to make the move happen.
My time is up here. It really is.
My soul is crying for something new and different. I don't want to wither away remembering how I never made that move happen, and instead just festered away my years in this state.
Here I am surrounded by stagnant situations. I feel I'm being engulfed by them, and my soul is struggling to keep me afloat and ALIVE!

Buenas noches a todos! Como estan?
Wow, this heat is killing me! Being outside unless in a pool, is not worth the heat stroke.
I slept a long siesta this afternoon.--- Well deserved, I might add.
Today, my Mrs. Fields cookie catalog arrived. YES!
I went to the mall and visited my favorite store Bombay Company. Oooh! They always manage to get in newer and better things from what I have on a list for future purchase. I guess now I have to update my list :]
Currently, I'm washing clothes :-\
Today's Quote:
Men take cold showers, women write ;-)
Friday, April 19, 2002 :::
Uhmmm!
Nothing like a nice early evening nap to charge one up for the rest of the night.
Today, I made it out of work early. I paged my boss and told him I was leaving. It was 4:40 p.m. YES, finally a Friday when I actually leave close to my projected departure time :-)
The sun was a scorcher today! Wow!
Okay, so my computer is still with missing a display. But I'm doing okay with my nephew's system. Anyhow, I was thinking that while I wait for the monitor that I have my heart set-on, to be in stock, I should hurry and purchase the digital camera I want. Especially, since all of my vacation trips are fast approaching: South Florida, New York and Bahamas. Urgh! I hate feeling the crunch of time! Then again, I guess it's solely my fault.
Well, que sera, sera. If all else fails, I still have an awesome Pentax camera to use. It is the BOMB for conventional photography.
This weekend, I'm planning to go see Scorpion King. Yes, that movie with The Rock. Ooohh!! What a beefcake ;-)
By the way, I met some tycoon this week from Arizona who told me he had a close encounter with a King Scorpion. Yes, an encounter of a fatal kind, unfortunately, for the scorpion that is :(
In another news...
I just confirmed the fact that my older sister(39) is dating a man older than her by >10 years, but I don't know the exact age. Yeap, it sounds like a lot, but who cares.
All I care about is for her to finally find the happiness that she so desperately has sought for the past 22 years. That's all. And, if she can attain that within this relationship, then GOD BLESS IT!!!!!
Afterall, we all deserve to find happiness wherever and with whomever that may be. Simple as that! Keyword here being "HAPPINESS." I wish her the very best!!!!
Quote of The Day:
Save the best for last. Yes, be like fine wines which become exquisite with age.
----I think that's what my sister just found ;-]
Thursday, April 18, 2002 ::: Announcement:
I am entering E Channel' s Wild On... New Host Search. Yes, Brooke is out now that she's having a baby, and will be hosting a different E show. EUREKA!!!!!!!
I believe this is THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME that I've been seeking!
COOL ;-]
No billiards tonight. I have an early day at work tomorrow like all of my Fridays are.
July and August or fast approaching. I look at the calendar and think, "will I ask my boss for permission to work outside the office like from another state?" ---I feel like the Cowardly Lion at times like these. Perhaps, I too should be off to see the wizard. Yeah, the wonderful wizard of Oz.
All right, now it looks like I will neither lodge at the nudy poolside inn or the "haunted" Victorian mansion. Why? Basically, because majority rules! I was outnumbered in the lodging choices. Four other friends are going to the Keys with me and they all decided on inexpensive lodging. AY CARAMBA!!!
I guess I will have to try the paranormal experience at some other time :-(
Tuesday, April 16, 2002 :::
Buenas Noches!
I just got home from hanging out with my pal. Catching up on past events and discussing current ones is always fun. For instance, me explaining how South Park has evolved from the days of Mr. Hanky.---my pal doesn't have cable tv.
Thursday is billiard night. Maybe I'll go but I did promise myself not to be a pool shark amid friends, only strangers :-))
On another note, today I met a "Rockerfeller or Onasis" from New Zealand looking to invest some family money in my firm.
I still haven't decide which resort I'll be lodging in, but I guess I better get to it.
----Okay tonight, I will share with you another one of my poetic creations. This one I titled Momentary Pleasures. Hope you enjoy.
MOMENTARY PLEASURES
Perspiration ran
down his face
like water
running downstream.
I licked drops
from his temple
salty like the
deep Black Sea.
So deep in me,
he drowned me
like a Tsunami
engulfing a village.
Wish I were
a mermaid
to forever roam
in his ocean.
Hello All!
Yes, I know. I didn't make it before midnight struck. Ay Caramba! ;-)
Today was a good day afterall. It went quick and painlessly.
My computer problems still exist, but I have my nephew's computer to overtake while he's out with his friends. Cool!
Ouch!!!
I just got a wicked cramp on my right foot! Sooo bad, that now I am only typing with my right hand while the left grabs on to the cramping foot.
It seems that April showers are here. It's been raining just about everyday since last Friday. Yuk!
On a water note...Niagara Falls
I've been wanting to go there since Clarke Kent in Superman had his fake honeymoon there with Louis Lane. I need to get up there sometime this year. And perhaps, take one of those boat rides which take you close enough to the falls that you need a poncho. Wait a second!!! Get wet with COLD water!!!!! AHhhhhhhh!
Nah! I would definitely do it in a heartbeat despite the cold water. Bring it on! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!!!!
Quote of the Day:
Don't fret or haste, for the best things come to those who wait.
---Waiting forever does not apply ;-)
Sunday, April 14, 2002 :::
Hello!
Are you ready for the coming week? I guess I am because I have no other choice :-|
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Right now, I am perplexed.
For my lodging at the Florida Keys I have two choices in mind, so far: a haunted Victorian house or a resort where clothing is optional at poolside and beachside? These lodging choices are both in the same price range, so which should I choose? I have never experienced either choice.
This will be difficult!
Buenas noches a todos. Espero que se encuentren muy bien hoy.
Okay, so I have come to a decision. Finally!
I plan to buy a Gateway 700XL. Yes, that's my plan for now. However, I fear that this plan might change before I actually make the transaction. Let me explain... The main reason for my computer problems is the graphic card plus a ailing hard drive. So, my first purchase will be for a new 21" CRT monitor because I've just been using my TV for the past couple of months since my Phillips-Magnavox monitor died. Then, I project my computer buy being finalized by May 11. Next, I plan to purchase a digital camera. So far, I have my heart set on a Fuji Finepix 6900. Sweet cam!
I'm hungry!
Does anyone out there believe in ghosts? I do! I have a dire curiosity to have a paranormal experience. Today, I learned of a place said to be haunted by one of its previous owners.--Thanks, Travel Channel! It is located in the keys. I am definitely planning to make reservations for at least one night's lodging. I will be down in that area in a couple of weeks, so I hope there's still some vacancy :-)

Tonight, I'd like to share with you another poem written by moi, titled Dolorous Flesh. Yes, it is quite dark, but who said life was crystal clear anyways?
1998 was a creative year for me :->
DOLOROUS FLESH
That evening thunderstorms beat over the house
mutating the pink to purple, and looking at
the surface of her skin, her bruised skin,
a battered wife wept, and
for five minutes
the incident plummeted on her:
thunder raging against
her Jergened body,
thunder
tearing down walls
from a pink ribboned marriage.
Man, in room pacing, demons
forking his brain;
woman, nursing her eggplant-patched skin, crying
in pain, worried of
him screaming,
slamming, slapping, punching her
again, to later apologize
then do it again.
Friday, April 12, 2002 :::
Greetings!
Hope your Friday night is shaping up the way you want it to be :-)
As for me, I'm narrowing down my choices for desktop computers: Dell, Gateway, or No-frills. ----Oooh, but the Gateway 700XL has a seductive package! Oh, but then again the Dell Dimension 8200 is...
Well, hopefully by Sunday I will know who to buy from.
On another subject, I present to you the Sesame Street Character Test. Yes, another test to have fun with, except it isn't as lengthy as the previous one. So, what are you waiting for? Go take the test! I know you want to ;-]
Thursday, April 11, 2002 :::
I can't believe Thursday night has arrived. This week has seemed to go by so quickly. But frankly, at the moment, I don't feel an emotional reaction to it.
I have a headache :-(
I don't know if it stems from my computer problems. This is my third day of inconvenience. It would be great, if I finally arrived at a conclusion, as to what new equipment I will buy.
Anyhow, I don't think I have anything good to share with you tonight, so I better keep this short. I don't want to bore anyone.
Are my mini vacations here yet? Should I look forward to practically living out of my suitcase for three consecutive weekends? Will it be fun to have one mini vac. after another or was I invoking stress?
Now, I want to share with all of you a poem I wrote during my dark, broken hearted days. This I wrote during my self-recovery stage. You know, that point in time when you grow strong again and get reacquainted with your lost self.
I titled the poem Passion Ended. Yes, I figured since we were commenting on Pablo Neruda's passionate yearn poem, lets see what you think about mine ;-]
PASSION ENDED
Mouth to mouth, their
bodies meet, his
probing hands felt.
With earthquaking
nudity, their hungry
flesh craved; his
grieving spirit casts
ardent plunges to
her throbbing soul.
Their fiery desire,
moonlight aroused.
Whispered incantations,
candlelit shrine, his
photos scattered with
hollow words
bobbing
on the flooded pillow
of her drowned dreams.

Hola y buenas noches a todos! Como estan?
After several busy days at the office, the momentary grand workload has decreased. Yes!
Computer status.
After spending a couple of hours dealing with the same issue ailing my computer last night, I've got it operating again.--But for how long??? Yikes! I don't want to begin imagining my life without my PC. Not even as a temporary basis.
Ah, tonight is a good night! It isn't midnight yet and I'm ready to post.---Let me publish this before our dear blogger site decides to go down.
I DETEST having computer or network failures!!!! After hours of battling my system, this is when I was finally able to get it working again. Now, I fear shutting it off. After what I've just been through with it, I believe my best bet will be to leave it on continuously until I obtain a permanent solution to this problem.
Greetings everyone!
Yesterday, I received the 2-cd set Monsta Jamz. I definitely recommend it to all "old school" R&B/Hip Hop lovers. Check out track clips contained in the cd at MusicSpace.com!
Pay day has come again. Yippy!!
Quote of the Day:
"If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere..." It's a risk worth taking!
You are Miss Piggy! You're something of a diva, but that's only because it would be a crime to let your looks and talent go to waste. Vous êtes magnifique!
What a day today has been. I am beat! Tomorrow's forecast shows more of a day like today to be expected. Blah!
My vacations are approaching fast and they just couldn't come at a better time. Hooray!!!!
On the downside, my boss wants to pawn-off on me the writing of a chapter on a book projected to be published by the end of the year. The downside being that my name most likely will not be credited anywhere in the book. Ugh! I must find a way to get out of that.
Today's Quote:
If it seems too good to be true, then it probably isn't true at all.---Live & Learn!!!!
Hola a todos!
I am so glad it is finally Thursday. I was quite busy at work today, but then again, it is always great to feel needed. My boss is an old, funny British man. He simply adores me. I guess it's because, we just about have the same sense of humor. Although, all our clients adore me as well. Boy, how many invitations I receive in a week to come visit them whenever I'm in-town. I don't mean old sounding geriatric men, I mean young interesting ones. Wow these perks! It seems they all volunteer to be my tour guide even after I've already said I've been to X destination several times prior. Oh well, I am quite flattered. I guess they all have an advantage over me... They've all usually browsed through my firm's website and have seen my photograph. ----The most amusing thing is when they keep my photo on their computer screen while they converse with me on the phone. Then they make sure to tell me about it and sneak in some compliments, you know --off the record.
Anyhow, are all of you happy that yet another weekend is rolling in?
Tonight, I'm in the mood for...
uhm, a nice oil massage. Ooh yes, a nice rub down with one of those scented oils from The Body Shop--something in the lines of the scents: Juba or Ananya. Now that should do the trick for me tonight.
Thank God it's already Wednesday!
Today has been a long day. I guess the weather did not help my mood either. I felt so drained that I was ready to go home by 11 a.m. God bless internet radio for that was the only thing that kept me going.
Oh, but on my commute back home today, I saw the most beautiful fiery sunset I'd ever seen. It was very relaxing.
So how was your day: better, same, or worse? I think I'll go light some incense :]
Tuesday, April 02, 2002 :::
Aah, there's nothing like good bedtime reading.
Let's talk Erotica! Have you read any good erotica books lately? Do you own any or just borrow?
;-p
Good Tuesday to all!
So tax time is quickly approaching for all of those procrastinators like myself. I did the 1040EZ form yesterday and was happy to learn that I have a little something coming back to me. Yippy!!! So, how are you coming along?
Monday, April 01, 2002 :::
Happy April Fool's Day!
When is "too much" too much?
Several years ago the solo artist Sting, ex-lead singer for The Police, shared with the media one of his bedroom secrets. He said that he practiced tantric sex.
What are your opinions on the matter?
