Hello everyone!
It's almost a week 'til my long awaited move from the sunshine state. Yeah!
I've begun packing. I want to bring everything I can possibly fit in my car. I'm nervous, but VERY excited about this move.
I am about to go out with my mom for some midnight shopping at Walmart. Funny thing is that she was planning to go tomorrow morning and had already told me that she wasn't accompanying me tonight, but then had a change of heart. I guess she remembered that in about one week, I will no longer be here, so it's a "do or miss out" situation.

Well, well.
My father's birthday celebration is going on downstairs. We all ate some GOOOOD Puerto Rican food already. Now, we're all making room for the specialty cake we ordered for the occassion. Oh boy, I can't wait!! : ))
Within this celebration, my sister was to make her first public appearance with her new, older beau. I was scheduled to be the videographer tonight. So, when they arrrived, I was ready to start shooting the faces of our guests to record their astonishment at learning who the beau is. In order to avoid seeming obvious, I had prepped the crowd by filming them prior to my sister's arrival. However, when they arrived together, I filmed their faces and nobody seemed too astounded, but I was able to get a face that will definitely be replayed several times because it was too funny of an expression. Anyhow, once we were all done eating, my sister dropped the bomb--PUBLICLY! Yeap, she confessed to be engaged! ---So, I guess the joke was not only on the guests, but on the immediate family as well!--- Holy cow! Engaged??? Damn! Some girls DO have all the luck! I don't mean because of the act of getting engaged. What I mean is because of being lucky enough to find a male, who is ready and unafraid to commit-that's why.
Well que sera, sera!
I'll go back downstairs now to join the party. I hope the cake is cut soon!

Life is kind to us, it's just some of the people in it that are rotten.
I am down to deciding among two possible roommates for me. I should have a final decision by next week. Yippy!!!
But, realistically my day did not begin as swell as it sounds. I actually experienced an event of a scary kind this morning. It all started when the cable guy came to my front door...
"About 30 mins. ago, when I woke up to find the cable guy at the front door (he was going to collect my cable modem for today's disconnection), I quickly threw a robe on--I didn't even have time to find it's tie in order to keep the garment closed. Anyways, I ran downstairs to catch him before he left.
So, I cracked the door open and while I'm speaking to him, after about 5-6 mins. my eyesight started to blur. It was bright outside, but the cable guy began to disappear right before my eyes into a blur of bright light that had previously surrounded him.
Then, I began to feel hot and cold all over my body, and then tingling sensations took over the body. At this point, I had already rested my head against the door's edge and was still trying to fan myself with my hand. I had already apologized to the cable guy for no longer being able to pay attention to him.
He kept on asking if I was okay, and of course, I insisted that I'd be fine. However, I just continued to feel like my resistance to falling to the ground was quickly fading. The next thing I know is that the cable guy firmly grasped my wrist and entered the house. He took me to the sofa and sat me down.
I was so scared and puzzled. Everything sight-wise was a blur to me. My constant hot/icy cold feeling and the tingling sensations, had me extremely worried. The cable guy offered me some water, but I felt bad to take him up on the offer.
After a while, my vision began to clear up enough for me to request to get the water after all. So, I began to get up, I told him that I was feeling a bit better. But, he still held me, while escorting me to the kitchen. The front door had remained open since he entered the house, but I didn't think of Pumpkin Pie running away until cable guy guided me to the kitchen. I mentioned the cat to him as we slowly made our way to the kitchen.
At the kitchen, I poured myself a quick glass of water, then he sat me down and went to close the front door. Then, even though I could see a bit better, I was still tingling all over and feeling icy cold and hot.
Cable guy asked me if he should call me an ambulance, I refused and tried to play down what was happening, even though I really had no clue as to what was happening or why was it happening. So, I served myself another glass of water to see if my symptoms would subside. And eventually, they did begin to let off, so I informed him. Shortly thereafter he left."
So that was my big morning drama. Not fun at all!!
Have I mentioned the Poodle puppy I purchased last Sunday? Ooh, yes! He is the cutest puppy I've ever seen, and I just couldn't help myself than to bring him home with me. For now, I call him puppy, but I will eventually name him--I've just been so busy! Of course, puppy will be coming up north with me. I would never leave him behind, especially since the main reason I acquired him was to keep me company during my lonely times at home. I know that puppy will have the same happy face everyday I get home from work. I can just see him laying in the middle of my bed just waiting for me to walk through the entry door : )

Hey, Hey! What's up?
How is life treating you?
I am doing better today. I actually feel very close to pin-pointing a roommate : ) This is quite comforting to me. YEAH!!!! Things are beginning to fall into place ; )
Las Vegas trip was cancelled last week. It would have been nice not to have forfeited my $200 deposit under these present circumstances, but que sera, sera.
By the way, I'm currently watching Scary Movie on Showtime channel. The next movie they'll be showing is Sleepy Hollow, and to top the late night hour they'll be showing Kama Sutra as well. Wow! Am I in for a GOOD night tonight!!! ; )
Next on the agenda...
Summer is just upon us, and I am low on swimwear. On the night before my cruise trip, I rummeged through my swimwear drawer and to my dismay, I grew out of 6 of the 7 owned. And, to culminate my sudden lack of swimsuits, the only one that does fit me is my electric blue thong bikini. Now, I need to make sure I visit Ron Jon's Surf Shop prior to my move on June 6th, in order to purchase a couple of replacement suits.

Hi everyone!
Boy, my ex-employer is wanting to really stick it to me. Today, I got paid, but it was a 5-day paycheck when it should be a 6-day check. I could easily allow myself to be driven by pride and not claim what is rightfully due to me, but in this time of need, I must push pride aside. Ooh that BASTARD! I already knew that he was Scrooge incarnate, but to cheat me out of my due salary is very weasely. Ugh!!
So look at the time now, and I haven't had dinner. Double Ugh!!

Greetings!
Wow, looking for a room for rent and a job at the same time is like working double time except you don't get paid. Could I be getting too picky when considering who I'll share a household with? At this point, I don't know. ----If any of you know of someone who needs a roommate, please drop me a line. I am seeking a private room, no smoking in household, washer/dryer in unit, must include water, electricity, parking, gas, whatever, for $400/mo. Male/Female, it doesn't matter. Ages 25-45. Preferrably no pets. Seeking a fairly clean individual.----
This entire situation is an experience I welcome! I am so ready for the change, I can't wait!
It is now looking like I will begin my drive up north on June 6th and hopefully arrive in the afternoon on the 7th. My birthday is on the 3rd and I was looking forward to celebrating it up there, but my mom gave me a guilt trip on me leaving before my b-day, so now I'm leaving a couple of days after it. Mothers are so good at pulling off that type of manipulation! Hopefully, I'll get to belatedly celebrate my b-day once up there. Yes, a sort of b-day/move celebration : ) Sounds great to me!

Yes, I'm back once again! I had a marvelous cruise to the Bahamas. I met the most pleasant baby boomers. I got major sun burns, so when I start peeling I will be a horrible sight to see.
Okay, so I go back to work this morning to find out that I've been "let go." Yeap, I was fired, laid -off, canned or whatever you wish to call it. What were the specifics? I don't know nor care, reason why I didn't bother to ask. Why ask why? I was so happy and relieved for this awful situation finally coming to an end. Basically, I didn't have the cojones to take matters into my own hands, so they did me a favor : )
Now I'm actively planning my move to the northeast. Oh yes! I am looking forward to fulfilling my gargantuan desire to move up north after 13 yrs of dreaming about it.

Hi y'all!
I am very sorry to have neglected the daily blogging for the past couple of weeks : (
Gosh, I have so many things going on. I think I'm going mad.
I just can't concentrate anymore. My mind is flooded with thoughts of all sorts.
; ) I've been a bad, bad girl; and deserve to be spanked ; )
So, I think I'm done packing. Miraculously, my small suitcase is half full, and I just tossed the clothes in there not neatly folded.
Okay, so I guess I should catch a little bit of ZZzzzz now because I have to drive back down to Miami to catch the boat.

Okay, getting ready to leave again off on another mini vacation adventure. This one ought to be much, much better than the last one : )
At least, I hope so!
Tomorow, I'll be home packing and doing other last minute things prior to my evening flight. Yippy!!!! I can't wait to be away from this state again.
