Hello Folks!
What's new for you this weekend?

I had a great week. I was out just about all day Thursday. Friday brought me quite an interesting day & evening. Anyhow, today is Saturday, so what are you all up to?
As predicted, life is taking major courses of events. By the end of September, I shall be fulfilling yet another goal, that I'd set for myself about a month ago. I am very happy about these turns of events. They empower me with each transcending day.
F.Y.I., This week's outcome because of reasons beyond my control, shall be announced early next week. Sorry for its delay, folks.

Greetings Everyone!

I hope your weekend went as FABULOUS as mine! WOW! I simply had a VAST ball of fun. Saturday night, I went up to Coventry for a cook out, which was delictable and the hosts were fantastic. I met a lot of new people that night at that get together and ESPECIALLY in downtown Hartford at the Beerfest. I didn't get to bed until 6:30 a.m. Sunday. I was majorly dragging earlier today, but later on, after the Margaritas started rolling at Puerto Vallarta in West Hartford, then I was practically singing my own mariachi songs for my table's entertainment and that of the restaurant's staff and other patrons. It was AWESOME!
F.Y.I. for those of you, who love to over-indulge in Mexican cuisine, then Puerto Vallarta is the place for you. This restaurant serves the most gargantuan meal portions, that I'd ever seen served at any restaurant. Holy Cow!!!! I can satiate my appetite by just glancing at the size of the plate.

Dudes, I am so exhausted right now and my body is screaming for my bed. Sleep tight folks!

Happy Saturday Folks!

Hope your weekend is going well so far.
I've had an interesting end of the week. And in this post, I want to say my final farewells to the following individuals:
*self-proclaimed Cheap Bastard
*Latino Liar
*Foul Flatulator
*supposed "Confused" Seasoned Player

If you ask me, despite their titles, I have them all on my list of PLAYERS! And they DO have their gaming skills down pat. So: hej då, adios, arivederchi, au revoir, and good riddens to ALL.

Now on a good note,
this has suddenly become an unexpectedly active weekend. I love when that happens. CT distractions is what I wanted and that's what I'm getting. Yippy!!!! Thursday night was good, Friday night was cool, and tonight won't fall any shorter than great!

Next week will be an important week. I will keep you guys informed. There soon might be a celebration heading your way pending this week's outcome. Keep your fingers crossed or your prayers updated, in order for a positive outcome.

This week is flying by. As a matter of fact, the month of September seems to be vanishing quickly. WOW!!!!

Tonight has been an empowering night. GO GIRL POWER!!!!!!!!

I feel much stronger than earlier today. It is such an intoxicating feeling. YES, to feel that I am sitting atop of the world. That I can rule and conquer. That the best things are heading my way. That mounds of happiness will soon roll in.
I am so excited!
There will be many changes in my life throughout the month of September.

People, I MISSED MY FLIGHT!!!!!
WHAT A DAY!
It all started when my ride to the airport locked himself out of his vehicle while prepaying for gasoline, on his way to pick me up. Then I didn't have enough cash on me to get a taxi. Especially when over here, a 10 minute trip to the airport would cost about $30+.

My plane was scheduled to leave at 5:30 pm, and I was still home at 4:30pm, when I should have already been there by then, since I have two suitcases to check-in. Then my nephew gets out of work and drives me to the airport. By the time we arrived at the curb, it was 5:10pm. I tell the cabby my flight time and they all hailed in a chorus, "You missed it." I was in disbelief, thinking that perhaps I will be able to find my way out of that jam and still be able to get on that flight, however, I was diluding myself. Good looks were definitely not going to get my bags and me on that plane, this time around.~~I guess that only works, when you don't have any luggage to check-in.
So I stand in line to see a CSR, meanwhile I stood there in shock at missing a plane that was still boarding passengers. Then I began to curse my day, my luggage, and myself, as tears filled my eyes. I got to the counter to find out that there were no other flights available going into Bradley tonight. To hear those words was like having someone instanteneously pour a pail of iced water over me. I could not and did not want to accept that fact. My eyes were watery and I just kept on thinking, "hold it together girl, you cannot allow your tears to run because it will certainly drag your eye makeup along with it."
Then the CSR told me that he'd place me on standby status for tomorrow morning. I had no other choice than to accept that.
What a day!
Now I'm home suffering from Stress, Frustration and Disappointment! I just want to get back to CT.
Carajo que suerte la mia!
Of course, my parents are ecstatic to have me over for an extra night in the bossom of their home, and Pumkin Pie is also happy to see me back, even if he doesn't realize that it is only for one extra night.

I need an ice cream float right about now.

I did my power walk last night, while under air conditioner. Damn, it is way too hot to do so outside...I'd melt or suffer a heat stroke. Anyhow, I'm glad I was able to excercise my body. Now all I need is a good full body rub down. Mmmm! That ought to help me begin to feel better and forget today ever happened.

Happy Sunday!

Tomorrow, I shall return to CT. I feel somewhat sad about it though. I hate these types of goodbyes. I thought it was supposed to be easier on the person departing, but this time around I disagree. When I moved to CT, it was terribly painful to leave and say goodbye to my cat (that was it, though, I was fine leaving everyone else behind)...I actually broke down and cried while holding him and knowing that he sensed something was wrong, but had not clue as to what it was exactly. This time, I feel a bit sad, but can't pinpoint the reason why. I feel confused!
Damn Florida! Why do this to me now? I don't get it. Is this one of destiny's cruel jokes?
I need MAJOR DISTRACTIONS, once I'm back in CT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY do! I will need to shake off my light FL blues.

I need to go shopping in NYC. I think it's about time for me to make that trip down to the city. Anyhow, I have to meet up with my grade school friend, and my paternal cousin and aunts. I guess, those are two separate trip right there. My friend wants to take me to the casinos, I've yet not visited. My cousin wants me to visit her and see her new baby girl. Geez, I can't believe she's a mother! Oh by the way, I have another friend in the city, who wishes to show me around the trendiest places in the city. ~~Okay, so I guess, a lot awaits me to distract me in New York. However, I still need some CT based distractions!!!! HELP ME OUT FOLKS!!!!

My next visit to FL will probably be for Thanksgiving's Day holiday. I'm not certain, but I think I would like to return then.

Right now, I'm appreciating the soulfully melodic sounds of Brazilian jazz music. I feel as if I was at a beachside restaurant in Copacabana, enjoying live music, drinking Caipirinha, and watching tourist attempting to dance Samba. Mmmm! That would be a delightful experience.

All right guys & gals, hope your weekend went well. Besos!

FINALLY!
Hello Folks! How have you been?
Today, I was able to re-gain internet access. I'd been experiencing withdrawl since Sunday.
Well, what can I say, it's been raining just about everyday here in FL. My hair hates all of this humidity. I believe that I'm ready to go back to CT now.
What a crazy week I've had. I feel a faint headache coming on!
BLAH!
I will miss tomorrow night's party(CT), DAMN! I'm sure it will be as fun as the last one I attended at the designated location.

Honestly, I missed seeing all of my friends down here. I missed my room and most of all, my precious cat, Pumpkin Pie/Baby Jay. I have mixed emotions about flying back to CT. I don't know why, but I do. I love CT so far, but I guess I cannot shrug off my 13 years of history in FL. There is way too much to simply ignore.

Anyways, I hope you all have a great weekend, and please take good care of yourselves and your loved ones.

So close & yet so far away. Do you really wish to allow your "destiny" to slip through your fingers, again? Take a stand...SEIZE IT!
